Participate in the Toledo 20/20 Land Use Plan for the Franklin Park Neighborhood. Neighborhood input is needed to help in updating the Land Use Plan for the City of Toledo. The Franklin Park Neighborhood is bounded by the Michigan state line, Secor Road, Central Avenue, and Sylvania Township.

Owners of the Southwyck Shopping Center in South Toledo and Finkbeiner administration officials are proceeding with plans to raze the vacant mall, but Perrysburg developer Larry Dillin will no longer be the go-between for the parties, after many months in that role.

In an attempt to bolster the controversial new entertainment venue created with taxpayer money at the city-owned Erie Street Market near downtown Toledo, the Finkbeiner administration unsuccessfully sought to attract promoters to book shows at the building.

Lamar Advertising Co. will move its regional sales and marketing office back to downtown Toledo after eight years on Matzinger Road, Mayor Carty Finkbeiner announced yesterday.

The company plans to move 21 employees to 116 South Erie St. and it will spend slightly more than $2 million to purchase and renovate the vacant building.
