1. Marion is not exactly a major city.
2. This might not have been hyped a lot.
3. Obama-Biden are not exactly huge draws in farm country.
4. Ohioans are probably reaching Major Candidate Overload.
5. The Marion Star put the crowd at 500, which is soft, but not exactly a dud.
6. The event was at 1:00 on a Saturday, when all good college football fans are ensconced in front of their TVs.

not to be outdone in using 'star power' to get its message across, McCain-Palin '08 got a boost from the remaining Lemon Sisters/Oak Ridge Boys in a rousing twinbill that drew 80 at the Shaker Heights Senior Center. Tickets were not free, with proceeds going to rush out another Rev. Wright/Obama ad spot to be played every two minutes until polls close Tuesday.
